_+ The Seed Guardians

Workshop led by Irene Lupi, Aktion Sühnezeichen Friedensdienste Summer Camp, 2018

I decided to portray the partisan Vittorio Meoni as a tribute to his memory, and also the two sisters Adele and Siria Pardini, survivors of Sant’Anna di Stazzema, and Enrico Pieri, president of the Martyrs of Sant’Anna di Stazzema. The final position of the works was set up in the woods surrounding Casa Giubileo, thus attempting to preserve the trees at risk of being cut down.

Materials: paper packing-tape, wooden sticks 1m. in length, lead pencil, seeds of varying nuances, wooden stand 1.50 x 2 m, hemp rope.
