Reflections Workshop #1 led by Irene Lupi, Jonida Xherry at Casa Masaccio on the ocassion the “Come sè” exhibition, 2014

Objects, painting studies, documentation images, and works of the Communal Collection came together to create a playful, inspired astmosphere giving a special quality to these moments, leading at the same time to the students’ deepening contemplation of the themes of identity and community.
Thanks to the mediation of artists who provided participants with a behind-the-scenes view of the creation of their work, and of experts in childhood education, the workshops concentrated on the goal of bringing the very young into closer contact with contemporary art on both a practical and theoretical level. Indeed, during the encounters, students of various school ages came face-to-face with the artwork on exhibition through thematic guided visits, and were then invited to try their hand at the various methodologies and concepts suggested by the works presented in the numerous exhibition events.
